LASMUN - La Salle Model United Nations
La Salle Model United Nations was conceived in 2013 by a group of students of La Salle University, based in Canoas, Brazil. Since then, the event has occurred yearly and has been implementing new ways of improving the space for debate and dialogue to reach a resolution to international controversies.

WHAT IS A MUN?
A MUN is an event in which its participants simulate as delegates of a designated country in United Nations committees. The objective of the simulation is to create a space for students and interested people to join discussions where the goal is to reach a resolution to a specific topic. MUNs around the world create a great opportunity for people of all ages to engage in an exchange of ideas where dialogue is the best path to solve a problem.
